Alice Truman is the author of When a Loved One Dies and Not My Favorite Subject Either, But… The app grew out of a deeply personal and practical question: why do so many families have to figure everything out in the middle of grief?

Through writing, research, and observing how often loved ones are left unprepared, Alice envisioned something more than books — an interactive tool that could help people organize life, protect their wishes, and support those they love. What began as guidance in books evolved into a larger mission: a platform designed to help families prepare with dignity, clarity, and peace of mind.
